Materials	Description
CR PosMAC	Cold-rolled corrosion-resistant Zn-Mg-Al alloy-coated steel. Products using licensed patented technology; listed in the POSCO Electrical Design Standards.
PosMAC	Hot-rolled corrosion-resistant alloy-coated steel. A broad thickness range for large sections and medium-to-heavy loads.
SUS	Stainless steel sheet for applications requiring high corrosion resistance. Grade and thickness are specified per order.

CR PosMAC features

Equivalent thickness · Compared with hot-rolled PosMAC: 2.3t to 1.4t; Same yield capacity · 39.1% less steel used

Equivalent-thickness calculation — ratio of specified minimum guaranteed yield strengths (500 / 295 MPa). Equivalent thickness based on yield strength; deflection (stiffness) must be checked for the support spacing.

High corrosion resistance
A Zn-Mg-Al ternary alloy coating provides greater corrosion resistance than conventional hot-dip galvanized steel (GI).
High strength
High-strength cold-rolled PosMAC with a minimum yield strength of 500 MPa.
Lightweight
Lower weight based on equivalent strength.
Listed in POSCO Electrical Design Standard Drawings
Product items using licensed patented technology.

Structural review

Thickness-by-thickness assessment by an independent structural engineer. All thicknesses assessed met the structural safety requirements.

Pairs follow the equivalent-thickness design based on the ratio of specified minimum yield strengths. Stress ratios are the assessed values for each thickness. Bar = utilization relative to the allowable limit (1.0).

Material strengths are based on the mill certificates used at the time of the assessment.
The stress ratio is utilization relative to the allowable limit; values below 1.0 satisfy that limit. A lower value does not imply superiority over another thickness.
Values may vary with coating mass even within the same grade.
